Not usually.  This varies wildly depending on what you currently have – most people are find with a HD (1080) webcam, and a USB podcast microphone, or even a phone in horizontal/landscape format.  Reach out directly for a more specific answer, but we always try and get you the best results for minimum outlay.

Broadly, anything you want it to be. Solo/Duo interviews and fireside chats usually deliver the most effective and engaging content, but we can work with multiple team members, podcasts, and video series of almost any sort.

 

At this time, we don’t come and record on-site.  Instead, we offer a super high quality remote recording platform that will record all hosts at 4k quality and super HD audio (subject to AV equipment at your side).

 

For most clients, 1080 HD camera and a standard built-in microphone are fine, and often your mobile phone is your best tool for any of this.

 

If you want recommendations on more specialist equipment without breaking the bank, just ask a team member – we’re all about doing more with less.

Most clients want to use Teams or Zoom, as that’s what they see a lot of other people using.

 

Unfortunately, that can cause quality issues if bandwidth drops, and reduces our flexibility in how we use the outputs.  If you’re recording a monologue (ie it’s just you, with no support), then we’re happy for you to use something like Quicktime and upload the video to us. 

 

For absolute maximum results, quality and flexibility, we provide our own, state of the art recording studio platform that optimises audio capture, and is capable of 4K. 

 

In addition, it records locally, so picture and sound will always be optimised, regardless of your internet connection.

No, the support (90mins) for getting your recording done is included in the price.

Every client wants something slightly different.  Whilst we do try and keep to the core offerings as much as possible for efficiency and cost, if you have a specific requirement, don’t hesitate to reach out.

 

For example, some clients don’t want a lot of repurposed content, but just a light ‘top and tail’ of their videos… others don’t want captions on screen etc.

 

Some folks want 20 minutes of footage repurposing per month, and others want 60mins+.

 

We’re happy to accomodate most requests!

We offer packages for 20, 40 and 60 minutes of repurposing as standard, others available on request.

 

20 minutes should be more than enough for most small business owners and consultants to start out on.

We offer a no commitment ‘test drive’ for Record & Repurpose – we create your brand templates and creative design ‘at risk’ and only bill the setup fees if you agree to continue working with us (that’s how confident we are that you will!).
