Attracting With Opposites
This week, I wanted to try a very different approach to my usual long newsletters – so please let me know your thoughts on this short and sharp approach!
Picture This:
You’ve spent the last 30 minutes perfecting an awesome post for LinkedIn… and now you’ve posted it… things are good. You’ve ticked the first thing from today’s jobs list. But tomorrow will come again… and you’ve still not thought of a topic to cover. What if there’s an easier way?
Repurposing content with opposites is an EASY way to DOUBLE your output.
Take this headline for example:
“5 Simple Ways The Best Operations Leaders Improve Team Performance”
That’s great. It’s catchy, punchy, and it’s emotive. If I was an Ops leader, I’d want to know what it said, so I can see if I’m already one of the best or not.
Now we can apply opposites to it – what are the challenges these leaders will face if their team ISN’T performing:
“3 Problems Operations Leaders Face Through Poor Team Performance”
Or put another spin on it, by looking at outcomes from good performance indicators:
“7 Signs Your Operations Teams are Performing at Their Peak”
Now you’ve got 3 posts, with roughly the same topic, without even breaking a sweat. Good news – now you’ve written one, the other two will be easy to write. They also gel with each other, and give a good consistent theme.
Bonus Tip:
Each of these can now be turned into a video clip of you talking about those topics for 2-3 minutes. Then, turn them into infographics and/or PowerPoint slides, and you’ve got 15 pieces of content from just one!!!
Go away, give that a try, and tell us if it works for you!
